SOCIAL MEDIA + YOU

I already know way too much about way too many of you thank you to the world of social media. Now Facebook is giving me the opportunity to subscribe to you, and your updates. That means, I can pick and choose what I want to hear from you. I think it would be ingenious if Facebook could invent this for real life - I’d love to subscribe to some of the things you say, and have the opportunity to just not “hear” everything else.

So what does this “Subscribe” button mean for you?

There you have it. You can give the people (meaning the internet) an opportunity to subscribe to you. They will essentially be given the opportunity to see all of your public posts and your profile can remain private.

You’ll be able to tailor your newsfeed to information you want to read, and remove all those pesky game updates. 

So what does it look like?

I’m subscribed to Mark Zuckerberg and I can decide what updates I want to see from him with the drop-down menu shown below.
