Do you love “The Dude”, White Russians and Facebook?
Well, your dream has come true because The Big Lebowski and Facebook have combined forces to be one big awesome place of… awesome.
You can now rent the iconic movie on the social network platform for 30 Facebook credits ($3). wowzas
Facebook hopes to gain ground as a movie rental platform. The Jackass guys released their string of movies on the site a few months back and they hope their addition of The Dude will only increase their notoriety as a place to be social AND watch movies.
What’s so cool about this?
Well, verdict is still out, but you can watch the movie and share your experiences with your friends.

I’m not completely sold on the idea of paying $3 to rent a movie on Facebook, and the social experience seems like it would be a lot cooler with your friends in real life. (ie. old skool style - all gathered together in your friend’s living room with popcorn, watching & commenting on the movie… in person)
BUT I guess if you live far away and you don’t get the chance to be with your friends in person, this might be a way to stay connected. Personally, I’d rather have friends over to catch the flick on my flat screen.
Thoughts? Would you rent and watch a movie on Facebook?
